I've been thinking it might inspire me to get serious about publishing a doodle a day. Or maybe I will do something completely different.

How did Humpty get up there in the first place?

day six! Washington, Utah to Foothill Ranch, CA

We drove through a lot of mountains today.



And right past Las Vegas.



We arrived in Foothill Ranch, CA and got acquainted with our new apartment. It feels like when we just got married, except the apartment is much better.





We made a trip to our new local Walmart and got some essentials! (like toilet paper and something to sleep on until our bed arrives on Saturday)

day five: Grand Junction, CO to Washington, Utah

This morning we walked around Grand Junction and had breakfast there. This town is full of all sorts of interesting art and sculptures.





We pulled over along a bunch of scenic overviews through Colorado and Utah.





And visited Arches National Park!

day four: Oakley, KS to Grand Junction, Colorado

Today we drove through more boring Kansas, and then slowly into some really AMAZING scenery in Colorado.





We made a spontaneous visit to Vail after spotting it along the way, and took tons of photos there. This was like an unexpected vacation. We had so much fun.

day three: Warrenton, MO to Oakley, Kansas

Lots of this all day!




The GPS navigator my Mom bought us helped us find gas in the middle of NOWHERE! Amazing!


Tonight we enjoyed the hotel's hot tub and pool. It was nice.
