We've been expecting a package, and this morning I found it on my backyard deck. These delivery people just can't seem to come up with enough creative ways to deliver our packages. Instead of leaving it at the front door or by the garage, the DHL guy had to step over the make-shift gate on my deck and come into our fenced-in yard, up to the glass doors, where I was not too far away on the other side doing pilates stretches
on the floor. I had no idea someone was out there. If I'd seen a man on my deck I probably would have called the police. My next door neighbor had some creep break into her house last year.Anyway, what will they think of next? Once UPS left a package in our garage next to the garbage cans. Our mail delivery lady can tell we're home, but she refuses to knock. She leaves notices on our door and drives away with our stuff.
Anyone else know what I'm talking about????

Ah, yes we can relate. Today I was home, but didn't hear the mailman drive up to the house. My husband is an auto mechanic and there was an old delapitated truck that someone had towed in our yard. Instead of leaving the package inside the garage door, or right outside the door, we got a note on the door saying that he had left it in the customer's truck! One other time, he left a package in a bag hanging on the business shop door. Does he have a phobia with our house door? We can't figure it out.

Creepy. Be very careful. That UPS guy might have had more than one motive. In other words, his motive might not have been only to deliver your package.
I hate to sound paranoid, but on the news yesterday they were talking about a woman who (the last time she talked to her hubby) had told him she was staying to let the pressure washer clean the deck, and then she was going shopping. She never picked up the phone again. When he got home, he found what was left of her, partially dismembered and raped, in their bedroom. The pressure washer guy did it.
As a matter of fact, I think the case is in NY(?)
Anyway, to go around to your backyard to deliver a pkg is weird. I'd consider mentioning it to a supervisor at UPS.
My dog loves that ball. I have video of him chasing it and hitting it with his nose. He flys into the air attacking that thing. I should figure out how to put that video up on my blog.
Destination...Gloryland!, Susie, I could go ON and ON about extremely lazy incompetant delivery people. The mailman/woman... BENDING books I ordered so they can cram it into my mailbox instead of coming to the door...too many more to mention.
Saur, I agree. I just emailed DHL. We had an incident next door last year... if I had your email I'd tell you more.

I have an exercise ball like that, er i did til my loverly children popped it. I miss it. I did funny exercises on it.
We get several deliveries and pickups per day at work. With the volume these men and women pick up i am amazed they don't mess up more.....
