Our visit to Seattle

I know I am not the first person to post a picture of this guy on my blog. I wonder if he's been able to start his karate lessons by now?

This guy had a cardboard sign on the other side that read, "I WANT YOUR WEED."

We saw this national landmark... the first Starbucks. Yes everyone, smile, I am taking your picture.

Pike Place Market was packed with people. But we did not see any fish being thrown. They had the day off because it was the fourth of July.

We stayed at a funky hotel in Seattle called Hotel Max. This is the hallway...

Our door...

The lobby...

That is the COOLEST place I have ever seen!!

We just stayed at a Country Inn.

Did this place have a cool pool?

I don't think they had a pool. But we did find a secret room where we were able to check our email. You can see more about it at hotelmaxseattle.com.

Those pictures are hilarious...the two of the different guys on the street. Call me some time...I'd love to hear more about your trip.

that is a very unique hotel indeed. At least that one guy with the sign is being honest. I think the other guy that everyone posts on their blogs had his sign photoshopped to say that

Oh, glorious Seattle....too bad you didn't see the market in all it's fish-throwing gloriousness.

That hotel is very cool. Were the beds comfy? The lobby makes me want to break out into a Sinatra song.

marci, I will call you sometime.

doozie, I've seen the same karate dude's photo on other blogs when I went looking for it. It seems people are giving the guy money because his sign is funny, so this strategy may be working out for him.

emma, yes, too bad. But it was ok without the risk of getting slapped in the head with a fish.

okay, I just came by again this morning. Don't you think the second picture looks like the guitar man is playing for very tiny people?

Jenn said...

emma, it does look like the people are small and standing on the ledge.
