Oooh, Jenn ... it is a fabulous book ... I couldn't put it down. Very descriptive, and very powerful. I really couldn't imagine a life like that.
I haven't seen the movie yet ... but really, really want to.

I actually did start reading it last night. Posting that I would read it actually forced me to. I will be able to keep going with it now that I've gotten started. It will take a while, but I'll let you know what I think.

I read it many years ago, loved it to bits. Movie isn't as good, heaps left out :(
I had a hard time reading it for some reason, I think it brought up too much junk from my past - not that I have much in common with her, but it did anyhow.
