back by popular demand

Today I got my car washed and waxed at Delta Sonic. I was able to get gas for the low low discount price of $3.98 a gallon. I sketched these two ladies in the waiting area.

Wouldn't it be funny if someone stumbled upon your blog and recognized themselve's in your doodles.
They would tell you, "How did you kow what I was thinking?"

Maybe that lady in the top picture was thinking of salad.

Have you ever been busted??

isn't it a privilege to be able to purchase gas at that discount?

uncle joe, that would be funny. A lot of people will recognize someone else in my doodles, but they will not recognize themselves. People have a hard time seeing their own cartoonyness.

aunt jo, never been busted. This time I was observing them through the reflection in a window.

doozie, it sure was a privilege. And I saved about 20 cents.

There is a gas station with that price here in town. I thought I'd see someone break out in a fist fight for cutting in line, 5 cars deep.

Amazingly enough, I saw those very ladies at my mechanics today while I waited for the oil change.

Speaking of doodles, my daughter thought of a funny cartoon yesterday. Carpenter ants at a new restaurant and the waiter, "We have a nice medium walnut with a side of railroad ties, or the oak is in season with a rainwater sauce..."
