Scarlet's Show

These are my parents' three Keeshonds: Misty, Benji, and Scarlet.

A lot of people call their Keeshonds "fuzz butts." You can see why.

Here's a few photos from Scarlet's first dog show. I thought I'd get some better pictures, of more dogs and people, but I guess I didn't feel comfortable taking pictures of other people's dogs. There were all kinds of cool dogs there.

There was only one other dog in Scarlet's age category, and she won first place. (That's my mom with Scarlet).

I didn't do much doodling there, but here's something sketchy. The show was in the convention center in Pittsburgh. They made everyone cram into an elevator to go up to the second floor. This doodle doesn't quite portray how everyone was packed together with their dogs, including some huge Great Danes, and carts pulling show equipment. For some reason they closed off the stairs. People were really mad.

They closed off the stairs? That's against the law! It's a firetrap! Or maybe it was just cordoned off? Either way, it seems pretty silly to do, unless it was for some reason like security?

Beautiful dogs, and congrats to mom!!!

cramming people and dogs into an elevator sounds like a horrible idea. someone was not thinking.

They are brushed every day. My dog needs to be brushed every day too, but I have a lot of catching up to do! My mom reads this, so I'm sure she likes all your compliments and congratulations.

People wanted to go up the stairs but the door was locked. I think you could go down but not up, because there was a way out that went right into the parking garage.
