Kaori's Pig

I've been going through some old files, and looking through some old stuff. Sometimes I make cards for people. I made this card for my friend Kaori on her 29th birthday. She loves cute little pigs. I was watching the winter Olympics four years ago when I made this. That is why he's doing a ski jump. Kaori thought it was funny, like it symbolized the end of your 20's is like jumping off of a cliff.

I am sure you are getting tired of my silly comments...but seriously, you have so much talent! This is the PERFECT card for that occasion.

I love it.

This is from when I used to color more stuff by hand. It's watercolor. Now just about everything gets scanned and Photoshoped.

OK, so PR just turned 59. What do you picture HIM jumping from?!

He should be ok as long as he keeps his skiis on.

How on earth did you make that card? Like in a program or something? It is adorable!

Kish, it's ink and watercolor on watercolor paper. I hardly ever color anything by hand anymore though. Looking at these old things makes me want to do some more work the old way, but the computer saves so much time.
