Sea-Band

I was wondering if anyone's tried this and if it actually works. I'm going to be flying soon. I cannot fly on those small airplanes without getting sick. If I have Dramamine I'm fine.

We just got these Sea-Bands. I don't want to find out the hard way that this doesn't work.

This reminds me of something I read once in a psychology textbook. More people used to get sick on airplanes when they actually wrote "FOR VOMIT" on those little blue bags.

Less people got sick when they started writing "FOR MOTION SICKNESS." Now, thankfully, they don't write anything at all on them. It's a good idea not to get people already thinking about it during takeoff.

I thought that sign read, for emotional sickness, so I put my head in it...

I don't get plane sick, but my daughter does. I used dramamine on her, it had the opposite affect!!

I'd bring my Dramamine, just in case. Actually, if you know Dramamine works, why change? If it ain't broke, don't fix it!

I haven't tried it, but heard good things about it from many people. Dramamine makes me sick, so I can't use that. I only get motion sickness in cars, airplanes and boats and ships are actually very relaxing for me.

Sea Band huh? Isn't their lead singer a Sea Monkey?

In Japan they had air sick bags that read: "Place Meal Here"

Uncle Joe, that could work too. They need to cut out eye holes.

Susie, that guy could not look more delighted.

Michelle, sounds like you should get your daughter some Sea-Bands!

Mr. Althouse, I agree. I had a bad experience I never want to re-live. I don't want to take any chances.

Saur, that is interesting that people say this works. I have found out the hard way that I get motion sick on everything. Big planes are not so bad, but the small ones can be just terrible.

Emma sometimes, ha! that would be a good name for a sea monkey band. That's quite a translation! There was one on Engrish.com that said, "for sundries and vomit." (by the way you can add the word vomit to your list of most disgusting words).
