Japan

I drew these sketches when I was in Japan in 1994. It is amazing... everyone sleeps on the train, sound asleep, some people are snoring and leaning on the shoulders of strangers... and they all somehow manage to wake up just as they arrive at their destinations. This is the same guy before and after he fell asleep.

More people sleeping on the train.

Hello there again from the Uncle Joe family. I'm still trying to get my daughter to post you some questions or something but she is a little shy and we'll work on that. We have a good circle of Christian blogging friends that we've met over the last few months and I'm going to try to get you some traffic. I actually have seen some of your cards somewhere.

Hi.
Uncle Joe pointed me in the direction of your blog. I've checked out a few of your posts, and I'll be back to read some more.
Don't worry about the herb garden thing... keep trying, though. Once those herbs decide to take off, they can take over!!!

i'm one of the christian bloggers uncle joe spoke of. but i really act quite inappropriately most of the time. so with that being said, have you ever taken a moment out of your sketching time, to throw a simple raisen into one of those open caverns? i just don't know how you can resist. i know i can't . people who fall asleep in my home, who have the audacity to leave their flytraps hanging open like that, are subject to whatever is handy that i can throw.

buy, hey. people seem to like me. i get visitors, say, every 3 years or so.

Those people are so busy working a hundred hours a day that they have no other time to sleep.

Maybe you could draw what you think they are dreaming of sometime.....

um, aunt joe, um, do you know what you are asking her? huh, do ya? if i drew what i dreamed, people would run for their lives. i don't know where this stuff comes from indeed. i am such a proper young lady, and so it is truly not fair.

jenn, yes on the farting preacher, i have viewed that one, long time ago. but i'll have another look at it for old times sake.
