Japanese brush pen

I drew those sketches in Japan using a very cool pen I bought over there. It's a flexible brush with a refillable ink base. I have never seen the same brush for sale anywhere but Japan.



Thanks to my friends the Mochizukis, I was able to get another ink refill.

Hi, I see you live in Tokyo. I think I got this pen in Shizuoka. At some little store full of stationary and stuff. I think this is available anywhere in Japan. I asked my friends who live in Shizuoka to get me an ink refill and they had no problem finding one. The only similar pen I've seen in the US was at dickblick.com. It was a lot more expensive, over $30.
