my coolest roommates

One semester at college, about 1994, I had three roommates. After that one semester, they ALL left. Two dropped out, and one graduated and got married. I was informed I would be getting just two new roommates, and then at the last minute, no, I was getting THREE again. ARRRG. I was not happy.

Anyway, these three dreaded new roommates turned into the three GREATEST roommates I ever had in college. They were awesome! We need to have a roommate reunion.

I am the top head. I look pretty weird in this picture. Changing it to black and white helped a little.

You're welcome. No, I don't make cards for Hallmark. I just love that particular card though. Happy Birthday.

Your post is bringing back wonderful memories of my college roomies and other friends who lived in the same hall. We were so tight! Good, good memories. Thanks! I still keep up with many of them. Infact, the four of us that were the same age and together the longest have traveled to celebrate some milestone birthdays even though we now live in three different states.

Meow, I have email for two of them. The other girl I have not talked to in eleven years. I need to get her email. I'm sure someone must have it. We all live in different states.

Paula, That sounds very cool :)

Saur, At my college they would not let us request who we wanted for roommates. Every year I got new ones. I just counted how many I had total over 5 years, and it's 13. I honestly can't remember all their names. Out of those thirteen there were some really weird ones! That could make another post with some pretty funny stories.

Kish, thanks for coming by!

bar bar a, yeah, that's what was so cool. I had a lot of roommates in college but never had a room like this one semester. We ate meals together every day.

I had the same roommate for two years in college...then I got married and had a new roommate! :-P

I'm visiting my roomie, Becky, in Kansas City this weekend, in fact! We only see each other once a year, if that often, but we're still great friends, even in spite of the fact that I've been married for 10 years and she's still single. God ordained our friendship!
